Welcome to Fresh Press Media. This guide will take you through the steps of setting up your profile and your first campaign. If you have any questions or want one of us to walk you through the process - feel free to contact us!



1 - Create an Opportunity

Note: You'll need to fund your account with at least $250
. Your account must have $250 in it before you can create an opportunity the first time, as well as subsequent campaigns.


Once you have a Product Line set up, you may create an opportunity for that Product Line. Click the orange “new” button to begin.





2 - Add Information

 

After clicking “add new”, you can enter information for your new Opportunity. This is the first bit of information that Influencers will see as they scan through the Marketplace.





After entering your title and deadline, choose which campaign to place it under. Also, add your message to Influencers. Think of this as your elevator pitch. This is what will get influencers to want to click through and learn more about working with you.


BE SPECIFIC: You can create as many Opportunities as you’d like, so get as specific as possible so influencers have clear instructions. Specifics will help them give you an accurate bid and lead to a successful experience for both of you.


Take a look at actual Opportunities in the Marketplace prior to filling out your details: Click the "Opportunities" link on your top, green menu to see live Opportunities in the Marketplace.



3 - Choose Blogger Niches


Select up to 3 blogger niches you're looking to target with your opportunity. This is another opportunity to be specific and help narrow down the bids you receive.




 

4 - Choose How You'll Compensate Influencers -

Placement, Commission and/or Product


As you're filling out your Campaign details, you'll have the ability to choose how you prefer to compensate Influencers. Check the box beside your preferred method of compensation to view and fill out details.

  • Placement Fee - With this option, your Opportunity will be listed as a Paid Placement. This means you intend to pay a flat fee to Influencers who complete this work (publish a post, write a review, etc).

  • Commissions / Hybrid - if you choose this option, you'll pay a Paid Placement fee (typically a low fee) and offer Influencers an ongoing commission through your affiliate program.




  • First, check to see that we're in your affiliate program (these campaigns run through our Fresh Press Media affiliate links) and join if we are not already a member

  • Build the affiliate links with Sub-IDs to track the individual influencers and the opportunity

    • If you choose to pay with commissions, you'll be given a new set of fields where you can add the landing page, or landing pages where you'd like the Influencers to send traffic.

    • PLEASE DO NOT ENTER AN AFFILIATE LINK. We'll build the affiliate link. We just need to know what landing page(s) you want to use.

    • Enter the URL, and then click the green "+ Add" button. Do that for as many landing pages as you'd like.

  • Product

 


    • Choose this option if you plan to send a free product for review instead of a monetary payment.


When you approve Bids from Influencers, allowing them to participate in the Campaign, we'll deliver the appropriate link/links to them.


5 - Choose How and When To Deliver

You have the ability to set a deadline for the Influencer (choose from 2 days, 1 week or 30 days) as well as the format you would like (blog post with social shares, Tweet, Instagram or Pin). Also, there is an option to add any creatives you wish the Influencer to use.


 


6 - Save and Publish
When you're finished creating your Opportunity, click the "Save" button at the top right.



This will create a new Opportunity page (with the options below) where you'll manage your Bids, Messages and Gigs for the campaign. You can take a second look at your details by clicking the "Edit" option.


When you're ready to submit the Opportunity to us for approval, click the green "Publish" button on the right. We'll look it over and let you know if anything needs to be changed. If it's all set, we'll launch it in the Marketplace and send you a link to a publicly-viewable (no need for a login) recruitment page you can share.


That’s it! Your opportunity will go live on the Marketplace and you’ll be on to Managing a Campaign. Please visit the Opportunity Management section of our Help Center for more details!
